Rotary Pride: Taipei Fusion Member Hayley Wu Advances to Global Top 1500 in 2026 Hult Prize

The Rotary Club of Taipei Fusion is thrilled to announce a major milestone: our exceptional member, Hayley Wu, and her startup team, GOMACARE, have been selected for the Global Top 1500 in the 2026 Hult Prize. Competing against tens of thousands of teams worldwide, GOMACARE has proven that Taiwan’s social entrepreneurship is truly world-class.

Bridging the Gap in Elderly Care
Known as the "Nobel Prize for Students," the Hult Prize challenges youth to solve the world's most pressing issues. GOMACARE has tackled the challenges of an aging society by focusing on a critical yet overlooked resource: community pharmacists. Their mission—"Making pharmacists' care always accessible"—integrates digital tools with grassroots action to provide localized, high-impact support for the elderly.

Impact to Date:

Community Integration: Partnered with 13+ local pharmacists.

Direct Impact: Served over 126 seniors within neighborhoods.

Educational Growth: Improved elderly medication literacy by 10.5%.

From Taiwan to the United Nations
Making the Top 1500 is just the beginning. The team is now preparing for the Regional Summits, vying for a spot in the London Global Accelerator. Their ultimate goal? Pitching at the United Nations for $1 million in seed funding to scale their vision globally.
